As you well know, if you know Carter, he LOVES Thomas the Train. I went online to get tickets for "A Day Out With Thomas", and I had just missed one that was about 1 1/2 hours from where we live. Luckily there was one coming up that was about 45 minutes west of Kansas City. That's not exactly close, but we like KC. We got to eat at The Cheesecake Factory, Fritz's Railroad Restaurant (a train delivers the food), and see Monte's aunt and uncle, so it made it worth the drive. Although, we would have made the drive without all of that stuff just to see Carter have the best day ever!! He was on Cloud 9!
He had the best day!!
Lexie thought this was a little better than than the Thomas play.
I was a little worried after I bought the tickets because I read some pretty bad reviews online. I guess the people that wrote those reviews didn't actually go to the same place we did because we had a great experience. There was so much to do while you were waiting on your time to ride. We loved it!!
Lexie decided to join in on the festivities.
Showing off their Diesel 10 and Thomas tattoos.
The train ride wasn't a sing-a-long, but Carter turned it into one. Most of the ride we heard Carter's sweet voice singing "Thomas the Tank Engine rolling along... Thomas we love you! Thomas we love you! Thomas. We. Love.
Yoooouu!!"
So excited to be next to THOMAS!!
