Idol Watch Party

Lexie invited a few of her friends over to watch the AI Finale. We had so much fun. It was so exciting to see someone from Arkansas do so well. We were all rooting for Kris, but didn't really think he would make it that far. From the beginning I thought Adam would win. I am sure he will have a huge career, so I don't feel too bad for him. Lexie and I actually really liked Adam, but we liked Kris more. We will definitely be downloading music from the top 5. They were all great in our opinion.




I made cookies for the party. They didn't turn out quite like I had hoped. I wanted to write "Team Kris" and "Team Adam". (I didn't want to assume that everyone was a Kris fan, but they were.) My tip was too big, so I couldn't fit that much on a cookie.




Carter supported Kris by eating a cookie.


Lexie pretending to be a rock star, and her friend is a hysterical fan.



Swaying to the music. It was a great finale, except what was up with Steve Martin playing the banjo?!


"Mmm, I really like Kris, so I should have another cookie!"


"And your new American Idol is....



KRIS ALLEN!!!"

Carter had no idea why everyone was screaming, but he joined in just for fun. He also was giving out high fives for Kris.
